Safety inspection of the hook

The hook for the manual driven lifting mechanism is tested with 1.5 times the rated load as the inspection load.

The lifting hook for the power-driven lifting mechanism is tested with 2 times the rated load as the inspection load.

After the hook is removed from the inspection load, there should be no obvious defects and deformation, and the increase in opening degree should not exceed 0.25% of the original size.

The hooks that pass the inspection should be marked in the low stress area of the hooks, including the rated lifting weight, factory label or factory name, inspection mark, production number and so on.

The hook should be scrapped in any of the following cases:

① Crack;
② Dangerous section wear up to 10% of the original size;
③ the opening is 15% more than the original size;
④ hook body torsion deformation more than 10°;
⑤ the dangerous section of the hook or the neck of the hook produces plastic deformation;
⑥ Hook thread is corroded;
⑦Hook bushing wear up to 50% of the original size, should be replaced bushing;
⑧ Piece hook mandrel wear up to 5% of the original size, the mandrel should be replaced.
